Haunted House Road Trip - Part 2
Stardate 081027, Episode 18
HI FANS! Welcome back! You are about to join me on my trip through the Hartford JayCee's Haunted House in Slinger, WI. You can read part 1 here to get the full story, but I will give you a recap. Me and my first mate, Pat, took a road trip to south eastern Wisconsin to check out this SWEET! haunted house. We atr breakfast for dinner in the Wisconsin Dells and played some arcade games. Then we went to Slinger and waited in line for like a million years. Yeah, it was a long line. Now it's time to start out trek into the haunted house. Come on, let's go.
So it was 9:30 pm and it was finally our turn to go. Me and Pat were grouped with three boys who must have been between the ages of 8 and 12. THe gate keepr told us the rules before he let us through. No touching the house patron and no pushing or abusing other people while walking through the house. We all agreed and he let us through. I told the boys not worry, because Pat and I have special powers. One of them said "Okay" in a shakey voice. THey were scared and I couldn't blame them at that age. So as we were walking on a path through the dark spooky woods to get to the haunted house, one of the boys asked me what our powers were. I told them I could dream the future and that my super streangth was growing. One of the kids said "WOW!" and then asked what Pat could do. Pat said "I'm really good at drinking." and then he drained the last of his flask. I told the kids weren't completely sure yet, but we think Pat can control and manipulate liquid. Pat said "Yeah, I drink ALOT of liquid and later I shoot it out of my mouth." THe kids were impressed, they all said "WOW!" I would have to agree with them, special powers are pretty cool.
Suddenly a woman ran out of the woods and onto our path. She was scared and saying things like "they're coming!" and "we have to run!" I told her to calm down. The youngest boy said "It's okay, you're safe" and then he pointed at me told her I had powers. I asked her what she was running from? She pointed over my shoulder. We all turned to see a fat, sweaty hill billy holding a meat cleaver in his hand. I yelled "RUN!" We all ran down the path. One of the boys yelled "Why don't you beat him up?" I told the boy to keep running, because the hill billy was after us. There was a light up ahead, so I told everybody to run for the light. I said that because my Grandma always tells me "Himee, when it's time, go to the light." Thanks grandma. We went to the light and we stopped. In front of us was a group of four hilly billys cutting up a corpse next to a camp fire. They all turned to look at us. One of them looked at the woman we picked up on the path and said "You jus' in time." Then he pointed at the corpse and said "Whe's jus' 'bout ta dine on yeh boyfrein'." She screamed and the hill billy chasing us put his hand around her mouth and started dragging her back into the woods. I went to help her and tried to pull his arms off of her, but they were all sweaty and my hands kept slipping off. In her struggle the woman kicked me in the shin. It really hurt and I fell to the ground as she disapeared into the night. I went to go after her, but another hilly billy grabbed me from behind and put me into a bear hug. I heard the boys screaming for help "help us mister!" The hill billy holding me shifted so I could see the other hill billys dragging the boys to the fire. I focused all of my super strength and let it burst out of me like an explosion. The hill billy fell backward and I was free. I charged the rest of the hill billys. I had to save the kids. I tripped on a log and flew into the group. We all stumbled forward and almost fell into the fire.
I got up and went to help the boys, but the hill billys were faster. THey blocked my path. Some stared at me, while another pushed me. I told them to stand back or I would have to use my super strength on them. They said the only way out was through them, so I charged them again. THey all laughed at me when I tripped over the same log again. The hill billys picked up me and the boys and dragged us into the darkness. I struggled but their grip was strong. After a bit of carrying us, they dropped us on the ground. I though this was it, they are going to try and kill us out here in the dark, but they would not succeed against me and my super strength. I shouted to the boys, telling them to run while I held them off. I stood up ready for action. One of the hill billys said "the house is that way, now get going and don't come back." Another one pulled out a walkie talkie and said "send in the next group." Then they all turned and walked away leaving me and the boys out in the dark, spooky, creepy woods.
I turned around to find the boys walking away. I told them to wait for me! They stopped and one of them said "you almost knocked us into the fire!" I said it was an accident and they shouldn't go running off on their own, because it is too dangerous. They yelled at me at the same time and all I could make out was "you're a loser" and "get lost a$$hole!" Then they ran down the path and disapeared into the night. I asked Pat if he thought they would be okay? He didn't answer. I looked around in a circle and yelled Pat's name a few times. Sort of the same way Jennifer Love Hewitt did in I know what you did Last Summer. I've always wanted to do that. Pat wasn't there and I was all alone in the dark spooky woods. I ran after the boys because I didn't want to be alone out there.
As you can see, this haunted house was a little more than we bargined for. I didn't think we would run into blood thirsty hill billys that would try to eat us. Lucky for us, my super strength proved to be more than they wanted to tangle with. That does it for this issue, see you in the next issue where we continue the journey through the woods and into the haunted house. BYE!
