Painting the Future
Stardate 081005, Episode 16
Hello Himee fans. When I last posted in my journal, I told you I was going to paint the future. I knew I would do it, because I dreamed I was painting the future. That morning, I got up and knew what I had to do. I asked Pat to make me a potion that would help me paint the future. A potion like the one the African painter guy gave Parkman so he could paint the future. I asked Pat, because he is really good at mixing things and drinking them to acheieve different results. I know this because I have seen the many different results over the years. I know Pat is the man for the job and he won't let me down, because he is my firstmate. Pat suck out of work to the trunk of his car where he keeps all of his ingredients. One of the guys I work with named Dave doesn't like me and Pat. Pat says it's because he got the supervisor job and Dave didn't. Dave asked where Pat was. I covered for Pat and told Dave that he was in the bathroom because he wasn't feeling good. Dave asked why I wasn't in the bathroom holding it for him. I told Dave "A good friend always helps another friend in thier time of need." Dave shook his head and told me to "stop cocking off" and walked away. I don't know what Dave's problem is, I hold Pat's hand when he is sick and needs comfort. So Pat sneaks back in to work with the potion. I smell it and feel my nose start on fire. Pat told me he mixed banana rum, kahula, vodka, beer, salt and lime. He said "this will probaly help you paint the future.. or help you sleep through it." I felt the potion was a bti strong and alcoholy, so I added some egg nog to the mix for flavor.
We took our lunch outside at one of the employee tables behind the building. Pat put the potion in front of me and told me slam 2 big gulps to get me going. As I did, he opened his brief case and pulled out a CD walkman, a note book and some colored pencils. I told pat I needed paint. Pat said "this is the best I can do on such short notice." I agreeded with him. So I picked up a pencil and I waited. I started to feel weird, so I asked Pat if my eyes were cloudy. He told me no. Pat said "maybe you should take another swig." So I did. My head felt light and fuzzy and my shoulder felt really heavy. I was ready, so I started to draw. The pictures I drew didn't make any sense to me. I asked Pat if I was drawing the future. Pat told me to drink more, so I did. I think I slowed time, because my surrounding were in slow motion and my hand was was moving extremly fast. The next thing I know, I'm throwing up on the table and the pictures. After that it's all glimpses of the floor, zombies, people I work with, monsters and more throwing up. I was moving in and out of the future and consiousness.
Obviously a villian who can stop time and space and can also erase memories or maybe even turn invisible erased my memory, because they don't want me to succeed in my quest. Lucky for me they didn't get to Pat, so he filled me in on the rest of the details. So I drank the potion and started to draw pictures of flowers. P at says he's no expert, but those pictures didn't look like the future, so he had me drink some more. Next I drew pictures of teddy bears and I started to look confused and worried at the same time. I asked him if I was drawing the futureHe looked at my eyes and decided that I wasn't and had me drink the rest of the potion. I just sat there and stared at the paper for awhile. Pat put the head phones on my head and turned on some Bob Marley. My eyes were only glassy, but I picked up the pencil and started drawing. Pat said that I drew us running, then i threw up all over the pictures and ruined them. I then tried to get up, but I fell out of my chair. Pat supported me and helped me walk through the detailing garage. Dave stopped us and wanted to know what was going on. Pat said I was sick and then i threw up all over Dave. Pat said it rocked. Dave was so shocked that he just stood there covered in my puke. Pat took me home after that and I woke up the next day.
I stayed home sick since I had a really bad headache. Pat came to visit me later that day to see how I was doing. He felt it was his fault, that maybe he over did it with the potion. He also said that there was a good chance that the salt, lime juice and egg nog didn't mix so well and caused me to get sick. I told him it wasn't his fault. He just did what I asked, he helped a friend in a time of need and I couldn't have asked for any thing more. Looking back, I know I was on my way to painting the future, but I think I am done for now. I will just have to rely on my vision and keep my eyes open for now.
